Known as The Promised Land, God’s promise was first made to Abraham (Genesis 15:18-21), then confirmed to his son Isaac (Genesis 26:3), and then to Isaac's son Jacob (Genesis 28:13).
God has since made many promises regarding the dispersing and re-gathering of the nation of Israel, for example Ezekiel 11:16-17: "Thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Though I had removed them far away among the nations and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary for them a little while in the countries where they had gone’. Thus says the Lord GOD, ‘I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries among which you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel."'
On May 14, 1948, under President Truman, the United States became the first country to extend any form of recognition of Israel as a nation, and its people to be restored to their homeland. Never before in history has such a thing happened! After being scattered across the earth for 2,000 years, they returned to their native lands along with their culture and customs, their religious and dietary laws, and their sense of nationhood intact. Many great and conquering empires fell during that time, but Israel endured. Hebrew is also the only language ever to be revived from extinction. God has made many promises that the nation of Israel shall endure forever, and so also may the alliance of the United States and Israel endure!
The pictures on the worship flags are graphically designed on computer. The images are then transferred onto durable silk or Dacron material by inkjet injection which creates a duplicate image on both sides of the flag.
Note that on silk the colors will not be quite as vibrant due to the sheerness of the material.
3' x 5' Dacron worship flag is available with your choice of either grommets or a sleeve for a pole. The Silk flag has a sleeve. The pole sleeve is 1 1/2" wide to easily accommodate a 1" pole. The top end of the sleeve is closed to prevent the flag from sliding down the pole. The top of the sleeve is reinforced to help provide protection from wear from the pole tip.
